I am so bad at blogging! Seriously, the worst. I always think I'm going to blog or have things to tell you, but I forget or get too busy. Sorry! :( Life has been great, extremely busy, but great. I have found that, of course, Dustin is my rock and will do anything for me, especially the things I don't wanna do like going to AT&T to complain about my phone. He's so good for being the meany when I can't! My job is going really well and it is seriously the best place I have every worked. God has blessed me so much and knew exactly what He was doing (duh!) all that time I went without a job. I think it definitely taught us how to be frugal with our money, and we hope to continue living that way and paying off our debts faster and saving lots more!
I'm really gonna try harder to take my camera everywhere and document our lives better, even if it's just day to day things. I want to be able to show family and our kids one day all about our lives, and I'm failing horribly at that right now! Anyway, I'm gonna try so hard, again, to get better at this and keep you better updated on our lives! We love you all! :)
P.S. Wednesday is Dustin's birthday and I am so excited!! Don't forget to tell him Happy Birthday!! :)

I got THE job!!
Hey yall! Now I can announce my exciting news!! No, I'm not pregnant...sorry for those of you who were thinking that or hoping..we're still waiting a while for that! But I got a job! And not just any job...the type of job I have been wanting, hoping, and praying for! I'm going to be a facilitator for a non-profit organization called Wraparound Services. They work alongside the state to help at-risk children and youth get out of trouble and stay with their families. I'll be starting Monday and I'm super excited, but also a little nervous...it's been 6 months now since I've worked! Anyway, thank you all so so much for all your prayers for me during this time, I am SO appreciative! Please continue to pray for me as I start this new chapter that God will use me to show His love to these kids. We love you all!! :)

1 Year Anniversary Trip
So Dustin and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary recently and we had such a fun time going to Dallas for the weekend! It was so nice to get away for a couple days and just spend time together. We got to visit Dash, Krystal, Preslee, and Tripp (my aunt, uncle, and cousins) a little while we were there which was so fun! Friday we went to the Dallas World Aquarium and loved seeing all the different animals. (I'll post pictures below!) We went to In-N-Out Burger for lunch...YUMMMA! And then went to the Galleria for a while. I am so grateful we got to go away together and celebrate, and I am so so thankful that God has blessed me with such a wonderful man who loves me and cherishes me the way that Dustin does. God knew exactly what I needed, even in areas where I didn't, and blessed me with that...I don't deserve all the love that Dustin gives me, but I'm so grateful God deemed me worthy of being able to be his wife! :)
I have some great new to share soon...but I haven't done the "official" things yet, so I'm going to wait to share it for a few more days! Thanks for all of your prayers all the time! We love you!!
These monkeys were like as big as our hands..they were the cutest!!
We got there pretty early to try to see the sloth down from the tree and being fed..but he was asleep. :(
There were 2 huuuuge anaconda type of snakes underwater..Dustin took a pic of this one!
Barbara Manatee!!!! :)
Pretty sure these are the type of crabs they must catch on deadliest catch...they were HUUUGE!
We weren't sure what these were but they were super cool!
Teeny tiny baby seahorses! They were one of my favorites!!

I promise I'm going to try harder!
Wow! It has been SO long since I've posted! I'm sorry! We've done so so much in the past couple of months, so I'll share just a few pictures to catch you up on where we've been! In January, we went to Gulf Coast Getaway which was a college retreat in Panama City Beach, FL. It was so fun, and my first time going to Florida!
In February, we went to Winterfest in Gatlinburg, TN, which was a youth retreat. It was my first time in Tennessee too! (I've become quite the traveler since being so close to so many states!) It was probably one of the most beautiful places I've been, and it snowed while we were there and made it so so pretty!! Even though we were on top of a mountain and up one of the steepest drives I've ever been, we made it and had the best time!
On our way back from Tennessee, we got a call that our apartment had flooded and we need to move to a new apartment as soon as we could, so luckily God blessed us with an amazing church family and everyone came over and helped us move that night in about two and a half hours after a 13 hour drive!! They were so awesome! In March, my parents came to visit and we stayed busy busy showing them around town and we even went to Vicksburg, Mississippi because it's only about an hour away. We had tons of fun and loved having them here so so much! I can't wait for them to visit for a longer time and hopefully with Cody, Kari, Gaige, and Sunny! :) And this past weekend I got to experience my first crawfish boil! I brought my own hamburger because I wasn't sure if I'd like it haha. But I did try it and it wasn't too bad, definitely better than other seafood I'd tried! Dustin's dad, Gary, asked if I could bring my camera and take a few pics..so here are just a few of them...
I've had an interview for an amazing job and got a call for a second interview this Thursday, so please be praying for me to do my best and for God to open the door there if that's in His will!
Also, our first anniversary is coming up next week so Dustin and I are taking a little trip to Dallas to go to the aquarium and just get away together for a night. I'm so excited!!! :)
Anyway, I promise I'm going to try harder to blog better! Especially more than once in 2 months!! Thanks for all your prayers! Love you all!

busybusybusy
well, Dustin made it back home safely from Haiti last night and he had a very eye-opening, great experience. he took some awesome pictures, but we can't find the camera charger so it may be a bit before we can share! :( I had a good week while he was gone, and there was only one day that I didn't do anything with anyone. I'm extremely thankful for my in-laws and church family for making sure I was never bored or lonely while D was gone! We'll be off and running again in the morning...we're goin to Panama City, FL for Gulf Coast Getaway. It's kind of like a conference for college students and their churches' campus ministry. We're both looking forward to it, cause we've never been...PLUS I've never been to Florida, so I'm extra excited to get to see somewhere new for a couple days. Please continue to pray for me a job...it's getting frustrating and harder to live on one income. We know that God will provide, but our selfish ways make it hard to trust that sometimes. So please pray that God would give us peace and patience and provide an opportunity where I can learn and grow. Anyway..guess I need to go get packing! Love you all!

haiti haiti bo baiti
heyo! Well, I'm home alone...with LouLou. Dustin left us this morning to go to Haiti with Lane and his grandmother and a few other people for a mission trip. I already miss him but I am so thankful that I am so blessed with a husband who loves the Lord SO much! They'll be teaching how to teach the gospel to some students there so please be praying for them and they'll be gone a week. I've had some good luck with jobs lately, but I know there are some better things so my options are still somewhat open so please continue to pray for that for me. My goal this week is to clean out and organize our guest room...it's a MESSSSS and I'm so tired of it! Since D is gone this week, I'm teaching the youth this Wednesday and next so I've gotta get to work on getting the lessons done. Thanks for all your prayers constantly! We love you all! :)

Christmas!
We have had the most blessed Christmas this year! We got to go to Abilene for a few days to visit my family and a few friends. We had such a great time and were blessed with great gifts and love! I hate living so far from my family, but it's great that Dustin and I get to be closer to his family for a while. We got back to Monroe on Friday, and Saturday we had Christmas at Dustin's step-sister's house and then his Dad's and again we were so blessed! Sunday we got to go to a great worship service at church and then had Christmas with Dustin's sister and mom's family. Although it's been a busy, traveling past week, we couldn't have asked for a better one.
Today we got to just chill and clean a little and got out of the house for a bit. Dustin has discovered his dream to own a Jeep, so we went and test drove one today to see if he'd actually like driving it. Of course, he did. So now he wants one even more, but it will definitely be a while before that happens.
I have 2 interviews on Wednesday, and I would really appreciate your prayers. Neither job is one I'd really love, but any job right now is just fine with me! We're hoping to be able to pay off as much as we can on our student loans and save a lot for a house one day..so any job would be appreciated! Well, gotta go make a grocery list...we have NO food after being gone for a week! Love you all!
